Joe Davis


Joe Davis has been the Owner of Gerald Printing since 1996 when he and his family moved to the Bowling Green area. Joe grew up on a small farm in Princeton, Indiana and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Math at the University of Evansville. He began his career in the Indianapolis office of Arthur Andersen & Co. before enlisting in the Army during the Vietnam era. Joe then obtained an MBA in Finance from Indiana University and his CPA credentials as he rejoined the public accounting firm.

In 1976, Joe began work for Best Lock, a commercial lock manufacturer, and became Corporate Controller, then President of the Los Angeles subsidiary, and later Vice President of Marketing in Indianapolis. The four years Joe and his family spent in southern California were fun and challenging.

Joe has chaired and served on several chamber committees and was named Member of the Year of the Allen County Chamber. The Bowling Green Chamber has named Joe Ambassador of the Year and in 2009 he was named Small Business Person of the Year. Other community activities include the Noon Rotary Club, Professional Marketing Association, Hilltopper Athletic Foundation, Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital Board, Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Arts of Southern Kentucky Board.
Joe and Sharon have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. His son Jason lives in Bowling Green and his daughter Joy is married, lives in Denver and is busy nurturing Kelsey, Olivia, and Ethan. Joe and Sharon enjoy serving in their church, reading, and traveling to Denver.

John Mazeika

VP & General Manager

John has spent the last 40 years in printing and graphics. Starting in high school in Southern California working at a small printshop and continuing through today, he has been involved in just about every type of printing process possible, from signage and screen printing to commercial print and web presses.  John has worked at a number of leading providers of print and graphics, including providing graphics and print worldwide. He has been blessed to work with customers as varied as the local high school PTO to Target, Sony Pictures and Paramount Studios.

The last thirty years have been in leadership roles, helping to take care of customers ever-changing needs at companies as diverse as Petersen Publishing (Hunting, Motor Trend and other magazines) to printers specializing in high-end agency, commercial and lenticular printing along with a wide variety of sign products. Leading large companies with more than 135 employees has been part of his path to Gerald Printing in Bowling Green.

Graphics and printing are in John’s DNA, and he is passionate about the printing industry. He can spend hours talking about Gerald Printing and the benefits the company brings to customers.
