Most delays on a print job trace back to the file, not the press. A few habits on your end shorten the whole timeline — and if your file needs work, our design team can handle it.
Resolution
Artwork should be 300 DPI at the size it will print. A logo pulled off a website is usually 72 DPI, which looks fine on screen and soft on paper. If the original vector file exists, send that instead — it scales to any size without losing quality.
Bleed and margins
If ink runs to the edge of the sheet, extend the artwork an eighth of an inch past the trim line on all sides. Keep text and logos a quarter inch inside the trim so nothing gets cut during finishing.
Color mode
Screens are RGB and presses are CMYK. Converting late can shift the colors you approved, especially in deep blues and bright greens. If brand color accuracy matters, tell us the Pantone numbers and we will match to them.
What we accept
- Print-ready PDF with fonts embedded (preferred)
- Native Illustrator or InDesign files with linked assets
- High-resolution TIFF or PNG for photo work
- A rough sketch or reference — our designers will build from it
If your file is not ready
That is normal and it is not a problem. Send what you have. We will tell you what is missing, quote any design time up front, and get you a proof before anything prints.
